Wounded Foundation, Between Working Field And Establishment

Since March 26 2015, voluntary work of Wounded Foundation began in the field in coordination with hospitals. A great efforts were given to help the wounded of war and provided them treatment, food and medicine.
But due to the continuation of the war and blockaded in Yemen and the numbers of wounded increased and requires a foundation to organize and control the field work.
Wounded Foundation seeks to help the wounded and take care of them through the Foundation’s five programs Hospitals program, Food Program , Medicine Program , Care Program, Disabled program.

Hospitals program

The hospitals program focuses on moving the wounded from the places of where they were injured to the hospital and follow up with them until they reach full recovery. It provides them all health needs with a daily follow up across more than 300 volunteers in most of Yemen provinces.

Medicine Program
The medicine program provides the wounded with medicines, medical equipment and supplies through a dedicated staff in governmental, private hospitals and care centers. The program delivers medicines to the wounded and follow-up with their treatment.
Also provides the public hospitals with some medicines and support the health centers that provide medical services for disabled.

Food Program
Depending on the public and private health tables that scheduled for the wounded under medical supervision, Food program provides the wounded in all governmental hospitals, care centers and disabled centers three daily meals made by specialized cooks and centralized kitchens for the foundation.

Care Program

The care program tracks the wounded medically, after leaving the hospitals. It provides them with medical care, food and financial support under continuous medical supervision and follow-up the wounded appointments in hospitals to a complete hospitalization.

Disabled Program

The disabled program aims to rehabilitate the disabled and help integrating them back with the community, to practice their normal life.
The program also monitors the handicapped and determines the type of disability. It also prepares questionnaires to determine the appropriate methods to be used in rehabilitating the disabled moreover how to make them effective members in the community, as well as, recording monthly statistics about them in hospitals.
